Abstract
A grate assembly for a fluidized bed reactor includes parallel air ducts and nozzle assemblies for supplying fluidizing air. Each nozzle assembly includes a bent tube directing air at an angle of 30-90 degrees to prevent plugging and reduce maintenance outages.
