Abstract
An optimized system creates potable water from water vapor in the atmosphere, or purifies salt water or contaminated water. The system employs a condenser having multiple metal condensation surfaces cooled by coolant passing through conduits. Power is supplied by solar photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, or the electric grid.
